Jannico Kelk

Member of the International League of Conservation Photographers

As a wildlife photographer, videographer, and ecologist, I seek to inspire a deeper understanding of, and wonder for, the natural world. I aim to amplify the efforts of conservation organisations, First Nation people, and the scientists working to protect our planet. My professional life as an ecologist has taken me across Australia and around the globe in search of wildlife, allowing me to document the fragile beauty of nature in a way that raises awareness for its preservation.

I hold a degree in Ecology and Environmental Science, and I work primarily as an ecologist, dedicating much of my time to the protection of Australia's most threatened species. In addition, I serve as the Media Officer and Ecologist for the South Endeavour Trust, an organisation that manages over twenty conservation reserves across the country.

Freelancing across a range of media projects, I collaborate with production companies, volunteer groups, and NGOs. My work has appeared in numerous prominent outlets, including National Geographic, Netflix, Love Nature - Blue Ant Media, Australian Geographic, ABC, and Australian Photography Magazine.
